European-Ladies-Cup 

Once the dates for the contests after the Congress were sent to the Unions, we received many questions about under what rules these competitions will be. ( because the Congress has decided that the races are going to be organized under the regulations of the organizing association). IMBA Board still want to agree some rules, since the results of races in a total result ( throughout 2011) will be gathered.

• At the end of the season 3 trophies are awarded to the overall winner of this competition.
• There will be presented a special shirt to the overall winner (European Champion Ladies-Cup)
• Participants are advised if possible at the IMBA secretary prior notification to prevent double start numbers.
• There is also a possibility to register on the day of the race , then one can be obliged to adjust the starting number
•  The organizing club/association is not compulsory to pay expenses. ( prize money)
• No travel expenses paid.
• A driver performance is not required, the organizer is free to build it into the schedule.
• Riders can take part with 85 cc engines with large wheels to 450cc. Four stroke engines  ( except special rules in the host country). For final clarification one can look in the national regulations of the Netherlands and Germany respectively www.mon.nl or  www.damcv.de.
• Issuing reminders to the participants by the organizer is voluntary.
• Driving with transponders, the starting grid for the first round is done according to the time in the time training.
• If too many drivers (the Netherlands up to 50, Germany about 45 drivers) decided the time in the qualifying session to take part.
• Not qualified participants can then take part in a class of the national contest.
• Points are awarded according to the IMBA Sporting Regulations, except where there are divergent national rules.
• The minimum age for participation is 14 years, the maximum age for participation is………….?

Hello sports friend, I receive from the VMCF the message that the sidecar EM Race not in 'Kapellel op den Bos, "takes place, but on the track in Rognee !!!!! on 15th -08-2010 .

The IMBA EC Race MX 2, at Casale Monferrato, Italy,

on 28th June 2009 is cancelled.
There is no race in Italy in 2009 for MX 2.

INFO- funeral Toon Klomp
Yesterday 1 June 2009 we received the sad news that Toon Klomp – IMBA Sportleader – and beside Head Member by Motorsport Organisatie Nederland – M.O.N. -,  very, very unexpected is passed away.
He was in Tsjechie (Krasny Dvur) for the EK MX 2, in the name of IMBA.
In the night after the race Toon passed away while he was sleeping.
The motorsport in Europe and in the Netherlands is losing in Toon a big Motorsportingfriend someone whit an enormous insert and love for the sport and loved by many.
Especially for “his” Sidecars he had an apart place in his “hart”.
The IMBA Board and all affiliated society’s - 10 countries – are losing besides a friend an  excellent Boardmember.
Inasmuch as there are formality’s between countries being secured, at this moment it is not known at which moment the Funeral shall have happen.

The Quad event at Heusden-Asten NL, on 05-10-2008, must be cancelled because of weather conditions. There will be no IMBA-run quad instead.

the problem is the rain..
In Italy raining from last week, but today 16.04.08 is sunny.
If don't raining till sunday we are ok, if the rain start again we have a circuit near Casale and the race can start.
I hope to have a well sun in this week, so haven't problem in Casale.

Hello everybody

We would like to arrange an International Supermoto nations cup in Eschenbach/SG, Switzerland on may 24/25, 2008.
Therefore, it is necessary to have 4-6 Supermoto drivers of each nation.
All drivers that have a valid licence of either an IMBA/FIM/UEM are allowed to participate.

We could pay SFr. 200.- as travel expenses and a price money for the first three nations.

Please answer me as soon as possible if you can send me (how many) drivers. Thanks for your help.

IMBA Congress 10.-11- November 2007 in Birmingham- Cannock, Great Britain

For the yearly two days meeting, the delegates of the 9 different countries, which are members of the IMBA, were guests in Birmingham-Cannock, England. Host was the English federation AMCA (Amateur Motor Cycle Association) who did not only have its 75 years anniversary but also celebrated the 40 years anniversary of the chairman Don Green.
The chairman of the IMBA, Han Roeten, opened up the congress looking back satisfied to the season 2007.
